Our client in Västerås is looking for a junior-level Associate Engineer who will support technical projects and engineering activities under the guidance of a senior engineer. The role involves performing tasks within various projects of varying size and complexity, focusing on delivering work in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

In this role, you will perform basic measurement and survey work, standard calculations, analyses, and simpler design tasks. You will collect data and support the production of technical solutions, including preparing drawings and drafts for approval by the lead project engineer. You will also assist other engineers with the preparation of permit applications, testing activities, documentation, and CAD work. The role involves applying standardized engineering methods within defined work areas and being responsible for project documentation within your area of responsibility.

• Basic knowledge of technical analysis, calculation, and design

• Experience working with CAD or equivalent software

• Ability to collect, structure, and document technical data

• Knowledge of project methodology and understanding of the different phases of a project

• Good communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in project support or a junior engineering role

• Knowledge of permitting and safety processes in technical projects

• Experience working in cross-functional teams or with multiple disciplines

The role is performed on-site at our client in Västerås. The assignment is full-time and runs from March 2, 2026, to June 1, 2026.
